September is the month to raise awareness and promote education about ovarian cancer. That's why you see teal colored ribbons around Morrisville. More than 20,000 women in the US are diagnosed with this cancer every year and approximately 15,000 of those women die from the disease. There is no early detection test for ovarian cancer - Pap tests to not detect it. The key to early diagnosis is awareness. Early symptoms may include: bloating, pelvic or abdominal pain, trouble eating or feeling full quickly, or feeling the need to urinate urgently or often.

Welcome to the home page of Morrisville First. Our group is dedicated to improving and revitalizing the historic town of Morrisville, Pennsylvania with a primary interest in the First Ward.
Situated on the banks of the Delaware River, Morrisville is proud to be one of the Landmark Towns of Bucks County and is home to many great restaurants, shopping areas and businesses. The Delaware Canal and Tow Path bisects the First Ward of Morrisville - stroll along this National Historic Landmark and enjoy its natural beauty. Or, take pictures of trains slowly traveling on the tracks by the intersection of South Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Avenues. It's one of the rare locations where all types of trains travel slow enough for photography enthusiasts.
